Yippee, we are back after a break due to COVID! Our first meeting is on the 15th September 2021. Do come and join us!
Author: Beaminster Raucous Chorus team
LATEST: Meetings and concerts suspended until at least 22 April 2020
All,
Very sadly we have to inform you that
RAUCOUS CHORUS MEETINGS, INCLUDING OUR FORTHCOMING CONCERT, ARE BEING CANCELLED UNTIL AT LEAST 22ND APRIL.
I’m sure you will not be surprised, in the light of the ever increasing statistics, that we have decided to take a break until after Easter. Of course, if the situation doesn’t improve it may be longer.
Please spread the word far and wide, especially to friends and relatives who were to join us next week at our fund raising event. The concert will take place at a later stage when the world is whole again.
We will all miss our lovely friendships, singing and gossip but, hopefully, you will support the committee in making this very difficult decision.
Lots of love from us all, stay safe until we are back together again.
Maggie, Jenny, Marlene, Jeanette, Annie, Kate and Phyllis xxxx
Tonight, tonight
Four more songs arrived from Jenny yesterday (sheets 97 and 98) so the men have four weeks to get used to the idea of being Tony in West Side Story. Perhaps, as in the movie (e.g. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=xd_foOvGvho), we can arrange for our part to be dubbed!

Sing along for dementia awareness week
Raucous Chorus invites you to join their weekly choir session. We hope you’ll sing along with us. Song sheets will be provided but we’re pretty sure you’ll know most of the words. It’s a free event, no tickets needed. Light refreshments will be provided. For more information please call Maggie on 01308 861685 or just come along on the night
